Marin Saric starts his journey torwards a PhD at CAS

Published May 02, 2011

Having wrapped up a Master's Thesis on Convex Kernel Embedding, I am joining the KTH's branch of the EU project ToMSy as a PhD student. We are hoping to use topology to have robots understand how humans move and do things and then imitate it using their much more modestly able machinery. Probably a leftover influence from my Google days, my main research interests revolve around making robots make sense of large amounts of raw real world sensory data without getting too much help from humans. In my free time I enjoy sharpening my lagom image by writing self-introductory paragraphs.
