Alper Aydemir will represent Stockholm when the winner of "Framtidens Innovatör" (the innovator of the future) award is selected by the SKAPA foundation. It is the work with Kinect@Home that motivated the choice.
The paper "Understanding Large-scale Human Spaces: Semantic Mapping and Reasoning using Multiple Modalities" by Andrzej Pronobis and Patric Jensfelt was nominated for the best cognitive robotics paper at ICRA 2012
